What is the book about?
This book was written with technique in mind, for both professionals and enthusiasts. The premise is that by mindfully focusing on sensation and the opposition of forces (Newton’s Third Law) we can facilitate a much more natural activation of the involved muscles.
What is inside?
The book has clear pictures of each exercise with arrows to indicate the line of energy and what we should be focused on. There are also instructional notes to compliment the images. At the back of each section, there are workout suggestions made up entirely of exercises from the book.

MOVE Away From Pain
What is the book about?
This book was written following a 4 year battle with debilitating pain following an accident. I personally experienced life changing lower back pain after slipping in a patch of water in a leisure centre. The pain led to me losing my business, relationship and sense of identity. I was on morphine, gabapentin and codeine based analgesia and was constantly exhausted.
This book is what I learned, in order to get myself out of the pit. Through educating myself on the nature of pain, I was able to master my pain and get my life back.
What is inside?
The first few chapters are a brief overview of the key aspects of pain science, clearly laid out and easy to follow. The major part of this book is the ‘body part rehabilitation’ section. The body has been divided into each part e.g. back, knee, shoulder and so on; and then again into Beginning, Improving and Getting Better. There are 5 exercises in each section for each body part, so 15 exercises in total to help get you moving and move away from pain.
